A billingual education reform bill was recently passed in Massachusetts and the aim of it was to give educators more flexibility and adaptability in order to meet the individual needs of ELLs. Parental advisory councils will have a greater role and individual parents will have an increased ability to choose programs that better suit their children’s needs.
