EDUGEEK WEBINAR SERIES-------------------------------------------------
We recognize that many of you wished you lived next door to us, just so you could get a closer look at the books we keep praising. Wish no longer - by joining our EduGeek Series, you'll get exactly that...without the hassle of getting a new postal code.

Part radio show, part discussion, we'll review the approaches and theories of these authors, show you a few of the activities and invite you to share your opinions.

THIS WEEK---------------------------------------------------------------------
Teaching grammar to higher levels is notoriously challenging as these students often claim to "have seen it all before".

To help us in this situation, and any other where the traditional PPP lesson framework just won't cut it, we'll be looking at the great resource: The Anti-Grammar Grammar Book and trying out a few of the engaging and guided-discovery based grammar activities.

Written by Nick Hall and John Shepheard, it is 'anti-grammar' because it avoids simply presenting students with rules to learn. Instead, students are encouraged to discover the rules of grammar for themselves by engaging in a wide variety of problem-solving activities.

Join us to learn more about this approach to teaching grammar as well as a few excellent activity ideas you can use immediately!
