Making Sense of Phrasal Verbs presents a selection of the most useful and frequently used phrasal verbs in the English language. The aim is to:
- Increase clear definitions
- Form context sentences
- Provide practice sections consisting of a variety of exercises for each unit
- Include a reference section containing an alphabetical list showing positioning of noun phrases and pronouns
- Include humorous and lively illustrations
The book contains twenty units, each of which introduces and practices six separate phrasal verbs. At the back of the book there is a reference section in which the phrasal verbs are listed in alphabetical order.
